Some of the best moments of my personal and professional journey have come from mentors, coaches, and consultants who have helped me better understand my purpose, career objectives, and become better at my role as an educator.  Being able to provide these experiences to others, whether it is through a one-on-one career coaching conversation or with an entire department looking to improve their assessment practices, has been so rewarding.  Watching others be more confident in their next steps or their craft inspires me every day.
Career Coaching
One of the many reasons I love career coaching is because of how humbling it is to see students and young adults realize what their purpose is, and begin to explore how they can use it every day in a career they will love.  Taking the time to think about how our personality, natural talents, and personal interests can come together as a career is such a fun and rewarding experience.  By using a series of personality tests and proven career development measures, we can work together to explore next steps in a journey to a purposeful career.  This can include exploring appropriate academic programs to pursue after high school, or figuring out how your current post-secondary degree and/or experience can be used to find the perfect fit for you after you cross that stage.

Curriculum & Assessment Consulting
As educators, learning is at the core of our work. By being intentional about designing learning outcomes that reflect what we want our students to know, be able to do, and value at the end of a program or experience is very important.  Thinking about how students grow and develop over time throughout these learning experiences is also central to our role as educators.  In order to demonstrate that our programs are working and students are, in fact, achieving these outcomes it is essential that we find opportunities to assess, evaluate, and measure our work.  By exploring the value of assessment, curricular components and mapping, creating or re-working our outcomes, identifying appropriate techniques, and developing an organization-specific assessment plan, together we can make your work more meaningful, measurable and manageable.
